LifTrak
Active contractOverview
LifTrak is a mobile maintenance-management application built for the elevator service industry, currently in active development under an ongoing contract engagement (10 months and counting). I was brought on as the sole developer to design and build the system from the ground up — data model, backend, and mobile front end.
The problem
Elevator maintenance companies need to track recurring inspection and service tasks across many buildings and devices, assign work to field staff, and keep a photo-documented record of completed work for compliance and liability purposes — all from technicians' phones in the field, not a desktop.
My role
Sole developer — architected the data model, built the backend, and developed the full .NET MAUI mobile application, including the admin-side management tools.
What I built
- Task assignment — multi-select assignment flow so admins can batch-assign tasks to staff quickly.
- Ticket reporting — structured report pages for completed work, with photo grids attached to each ticket for documentation.
- Admin module — management screens for Tasks, Staff, and Buildings.
- Maintenance calendar — scheduling view for recurring and upcoming maintenance.
- Inline device management — add-device flow built directly into the workflow rather than a separate screen, to keep field use fast.
- Secure auth — JWT-based authentication across the app.
Scale
In active use by a team of roughly 5–6 people, including field technicians and office staff.
